Fat Loss 4 Idiots
Posted On 01/31/2010 07:05:18 by moardena
Fat Loss 4 Idiots

Fat Loss 4 Idiots has really started a buzz across the web. They make several claims as to why other weight Loss plans don't work and why this one will. Which is, of course, typical advertising for pushing any given product.

They have taken a new approach to weight Loss and are trying to discount some old beliefs about how to go about it. One of their first attack targets is low fat diets. They claim that for the last 15 years of the popularity of these diets, their claims don't work, and the problem of obesity in America proves that.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots is trying to play off the fact that the traditional ways haven't worked and its time to try new ones. As in the case for so many products, every user is different. But as a whole, they could be right concerning the old weight Loss methods.

Another claim that Fat Loss 4 Idiots makes is that a low calorie diet is a waste of time. They actually make a rather good point about lowering calorie intake. How can you lose by slowing down your fat burning engine? Makes sense, huh?

Fat Loss 4 Idiots also claims that the low carb plans are useless. They claim that these diets are too strict to follow and again you give up energy on the other end.

To the Fatt Loss 4 Idiots people, it’s all about the food you eat and how you eat it. (Scheduled intervals) I myself have seen diets where people eat 6 times a day, at different intervals with smaller portions. I have seen weight Loss happen from these techniques.

If you’ve chased after your weight Loss goals with no results, Fat Loss 4 Idiots has some advice for you. They do have a logical way to diet.

BofA Posts a Loss of $1 Billion, Discloses More on Merrill Deal
Posted On 10/17/2009 02:07:14 by brandclothing

Bank of America Corp. released documents Friday showing more about its decision making during the Merrill Lynch & Co. takeover, while reporting a $1 billion net Loss that revealed continued exposure to bad loans and a weak U.S. consumer. The worse-than-expected third-quarter results, down from a net profit of $1.18 billion a year earlier, clarified the many challenges still facing the nation's largest bank by assets and marred Kenneth Lewis's last earnings conference call as chief executive officer. Several of his rivals were able to churn out profits in the same quarter. "Forty years with the same company and eight years as Wholesale Air Jordan Fusions CEO is enough," said Mr. Lewis, who intends to step down at year end. But there also were flashes of the CEO's competitive streak: "I have no doubt that Bank of America will thrive and my absence will not slow the momentum that is starting once again to move this company forward," he said. Credit losses for the Charlotte, N.C., lender soared to $9.6 billion, from $4.3 billion, as loans continue to go bad across all sectors. But "we believe we may have peaked in total credit losses this quarter," Mr. Lewis said, a more optimistic assessment than offered by Citigroup Inc. and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. chiefs earlier in the week. Despite the bank's second quarterly Loss in less than a year, Mr. Lewis was aggressive in his predictions about a recovery, highlighting a "leveling" in early-stage credit-card delinquencies and slowing of loan-loss reserves. The $2.1 billion in reserves added in the quarter for soured loans was down from $4.7 billion in the prior quarter. The latest addition brings total reserves to $35.83 billion, or 3.9% of total loans, a percentage well below J.P. Morgan and Citi. But the outlook didn't impress investors, Air Jordan 23 who sent BofA's shares down 84 cents, or 4.6%, to $17.26 on Friday, helping spur a 67.03-point drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Among the other headaches for BofA are federal, state and congressional probes into the circumstances surrounding the Merrill deal, which closed on Jan. 1. BofA submitted to investigators Friday more than Wholesale Nike Other Shoes 1,000 pages of emails and internal documents it hopes will show that BofA acted in "good faith" and "with the best interests of the shareholders," according to a letter delivered to Rep. Edolphus Towns (D., N.Y.), chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. The bank, according to people who have reviewed the documents, is claiming executives followed the advice of internal and external counsel in November when considering whether Merrill's losses were big enough to disclose to investors. On Dec. 3, general counsel Timothy Mayopoulos recommended to Chief Financial Officer Joseph Price that estimated fourth-quarter losses for Merrill weren't high enough to reveal, said two people familiar with the documents. That day, the forecast went from about $7 billion to $9 billion. Mr. Mayopoulos couldn't be reached for comment, but another person familiar with the situation said Mr. Mayopoulos didn't have the $9 billion number when he made that recommendation. In fact, Mr. Mayopoulos didn't learn of the $9 billion estimate until Dec. 9, this person said. He was let go the next day. After the vote, as losses ballooned further, external counsel Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz recommended the company had the basis to consider backing out of the deal by invoking a "material adverse change" clause, these people said. And there were no discussions with internal or external counsel Wholesale Brand Shoes about disclosing secret talks with the U.S. government regarding Merrill-related aid. The documents, these people said, also show that Merrill's law firm, Shearman & Sterling, and Wachtell were involved in the drafting of an agreement that capped BofA's approval of billions in bonuses to Merrill employees. The agreement wasn't made public as part of a November proxy statement, the subject of a SEC lawsuit. Shearman declined to comment. Ironically, the bright spot in BofA's third-quarter report was the part of the business it inherited from Merrill. Trading profits, for example, were up 57% from the previous quarter, to $3.4 billion. The bank's global banking, global markets and wealth-management units all made money during the quarter.

Weight Loss and Binge Eating
Posted On 07/24/2009 21:37:18 by arthurfan

Some people suffer from an eating disorder that is somewhat common. For example people who have a bad day, are nervous about something, or just in a bad mood, will binge eat. They will sit in front of the television set and constantly eat. Many times if something bad happens to them such as perhaps losing a job or anything that touches a nerve in emotions there again they will eat.

On the other hand those individuals who are trying to stay on a weight Loss program will start to binge eat because he or she is hungry and there's no one to be honest with them about the eating habit.

This type of eating disorder can be taken care of and people don't have to use bad things to eat all the time. However that's exactly what experts claim happens to them. But eating isn't the answer. It would be different if you were eating healthy snacks but most of the time these people are eating chips, candy, cupcakes, and so much more. And if all they do is sit on the sofa watching television then there becomes another problem. No exercise. So naturally the food and the calories are going to make you gain weight.

Binge eating isn't good for anyone. Some places for obese individuals even have support groups for binge eaters and knowing what this disorder does. It makes you eat instead of dealing with pressures and problems without food. No body can expect to be on a weight Loss program and be a binge eater. It just doesn't work that way.
